Digital Labels

New Dimension Labels offers digitally printed labels that perfectly complement our flexographic print technology. In the past, you may have had to sacrifice quality with digital printing. That’s not true today. We use state of the art HP digital presses that provide print quality equal or better than many conventional print methods.  Advantages of digitally printed labels include:

·         Cost –digital is cost effective for production of short run and medium run lengths. Furthermore, your customer can order only the quantity they need for a project. Your customer’s product packaging can quickly respond to market changes.

·         Speed - no plates are needed so press set-up is virtually eliminated. With a press speed of up to 130 linear feet per minute we can provide fast turnarounds regardless of how many colors are printed.

·         Consistency – quality is reliable by using state-of-the-art computer monitored printing that ensures the first label has the same consistent quality as the last. Custom color profiles also ensure that repeat jobs match exactly.

·         Wide media gamut – our HP digital production supports a wide range of media including synthetic and paper substrates from .5 pt to 18 pt.

·         Unparalleled color quality – with 7 ink stations on the press, we can obtain high resolution printing and perfect registration.

·         Variability – digital production offers variable data printing capability. Each label can be uniquely different.  Common variable applications include barcodes, numbering, text, photos or images, QR codes and more.

·         Sustainability – digital workflow and production reduces the amount of waste generated in press set up and printing.  This includes such items as printing plates, paper set up waste, ink wash up chemicals and more.  The press is also compatible with many of today’s sustainable substrates.
